In an incredibly brief trailer today, the Pokémon Company has announced that Mega Zeraora will be coming to Pokémon Legends: Z-A’s Mega Dimension DLC. The fourth revealed new mega evolution for this expansion, Zeraora’s potential inclusion was leaked last month ahead of the game’s release. While some of that came from data mining, most of it was speculation based on how Game Freak typically designs its expansions.

In less exciting news, the Mega Zeraora trailer also confirmed that Zubat, Golbat, and Crobat will be coming to Legends: Z-A via the DLC, though likely without Mega Evolutions (especially for Zubat). It seems this add-on won’t be limited to just mega forms of currently existing Pokémon, but a reintroduction of other critters left out of the main campaign. That’s not entirely dissimilar to how the previous Nintendo Switch Pokémon titles worked, which included more monsters to beef out the roster in DLC.

When does Mega Dimension release?

Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Mega Dimension will be available for Switch and Switch 2 on December 10th, 2025. It will cost you $30 to jump in.
