Eagle-eyed users of the Xbox app have potentially discovered a release date for the upcoming Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection.

The app listed the compilation with a release of September 29th or 30th September, depending on the users’ time zone. These dates have since been removed on the app, but users have posted screenshots online.

If the date is accurate, then we can likely expect to see the Nintendo Switch version of the collection on the same day.

Not all of the games included in Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection have yet been confirmed, but here are the games (and versions of said games) we know of so far, according to IGN:

  • Mortal Kombat (1992): Arcade, SNES, Genesis, Game Boy, Game Gear
  • Mortal Kombat II (1993): Arcade, SNES, Genesis, Game Boy, 32X
  • Mortal Kombat 3 (1995): Arcade, SNES, Genesis
  • Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 (1995): Arcade, SNES
  • Mortal Kombat 4 (1997): Arcade
  • Mortal Kombat Advance (2001): Game Boy Advance
  • Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance (2002): Game Boy Advance
  • Mortal Kombat: Tournament Edition (2003): Game Boy Advance

It will also include online multiplayer with rollback netcode, an interactive documentary, and detailed character histories and timelines.
