Split Fiction, the latest co-op multiplayer game by developer Hazelight, launched on March 6th to critical acclaim. Shortly after launch, it was rumored that a movie adaptation was in the works for the game and we’ve now received confirmation on its existence, along with one of the stars as well as the director.
Sydney Sweeney, best known from Euphoria, Anyone But You, and (unfortunately) Madame Web, is set to star in Split Fiction. It is currently unknown if she will be playing Zoe or Mio, the two main characters of the game. Sweeney will also serve as an executive producer for the film, with Jon M. Chu directing, fresh off of both Wicked movies. The script will be written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, who wrote the scripts for all three Deadpool movies. With a superstar lineup, it’s likely that this adaptation will make its way to the silver screen soon.
When does Split Fiction release on Switch 2?
