In a story you simply cannot make up, Fangamer has announced that it will be delaying the pre-orders for its Collector’s Edition of Pizza Tower on Nintendo Switch (due to the uncertainty surrounding the tariffs imposed by President Trump. In a message on the game’s product page, Fangamer writes:

Preorders for the Pizza Tower Collector’s Edition have been delayed by new tariffs targeting manufacturing in China that have made it impossible for us to estimate the CE’s final price. We hope to begin preorders within the next month, and we still expect to ship them this fall, alongside the standard edition.”

As you can read, this delay does not impact the standard edition, which is available for $35. The reason for the Collector’s Edition getting delayed, specifically, is that most of its extra contents contain parts from China. We don’t know how much is manufactured with Chinese materials, but seeing as how the current tariff rate on the country sits at a whopping 145% and could go up or down at any second, it makes sense to delay the pre-orders for now. Fangamer works similarly to Limited Run Games in that it creates stock based on orders rather than simply to fill shelves.
