Just last September, Splatoon 3 celebrated its two-year anniversary in a spectacular sendoff with the Grand Festival. This celebration also marked the effective ending of the game, with new monthly Splatfest themes coming to a close. While the new content has slowed down, it hasn’t stopped entirely, as the seasonal holiday Fests still bring new themes to the table each time. As the end of the year draws closer, that means that the next Frosty Fest is on the horizon, and in fact, the theme has already been revealed!
The question this time around asks “What would make you happiest?” for the holidays. Shiver will represent Team Money, Frye stands for Team Experiences, and Big Man is all in on Team Presents. Tough choices all around, but there’s plenty of time to decide for those who don’t have an immediate answer. The Frosty Fest begins on January 10th at 4 p.m. PST and runs throughout the weekend until 4 p.m. on the 12th. That leaves three weeks from now to mull over the choices and decide which side to join, just be sure not to forget!

With Splatoon 3 being at the end of its support cycle, it’s still nice to still get some new themes every so often. With the holidays growing ever closer, this is a question that lingers in the minds of many as-is, but whether that makes the choice easier or not is up in the air. Either way, mark your 2025 calendars for January 10th and get ready to kick off the new year with a Frosty Fest for the ages!
