The Nintendo Museum officially opens to the public on October 2nd, but fortunate journalists and influencers have already traveled to Kyoto for an exclusive sneak peek ahead of the grand opening. While much of the Museum was featured in the recent Nintendo Museum Direct, the gift shop remained under wraps—until now. Nintendo merchandise fans, get ready to be impressed! Here’s your first look at some of the exclusive items available for purchase at the Museum.

First, let’s take a look at the pillows! Loads of controller pillows, including the Famicom, Wii, and Nintendo 64 are available for around 13,200 Yen each, or around $91 USD

Some additional images come from the Twitter account GameWatch, showcases an Ultra Hand, a variety of shirts, an abundance of mugs, and several Famicom-inspired Super Mario items.

The next batch of items, shared by Willem Hilhorst on Bluesky, includes giant body pillows shaped like Wii Remotes, a range of Virtual Boy merchandise, and a variety of keychains modeled after Nintendo’s most iconic controllers.
