Who will star in the Minecraft Movie?
Besides Jack Black, other announced cast members include Wednesday’s Emma Myers, Danielle Brooks (Peacemaker, Orange is the New Black), and Sebastian Eugene Hansen. It was also confirmed that Jason Momoa will star in the film in an unannounced role.
Who’s Making the Minecraft Movie?
The latest in a new wave of video game adaptations, Minecraft is being worked on by a veritable smorgasbord of companies, including Warner Bros., Vertigo Entertainment, Legendary, and, somehow, Jason Mamoa’s clothing brand, On The Roam. Minecraft will be directed by Jared Hess (Nacho Libre, Napoleon Dynamite), though the writing team is still unannounced.
When is the Minecraft Movie Coming Out?
The Minecraft Movie is set to release on April 4th, 2025.
