One of the earliest reveals during the Summer Games Fest was a trailer for Sid Meier’s Civilization VII, with a quick and gorgeous look at the history of the world. While we didn’t get a look at any actual gameplay, there was promise of a full reveal coming in August and a confirmation of a 2025 release.

In addition, the title card at the end of the trailer confirmed that the seventh title in the Civilization series will be coming to Nintendo Switch. Stay tuned to Nintendo Wire as more information about Sid Meier’s Civilization VII becomes available later this summer.
