ust last night, Jupiter Corporation announced that a brand new crossover edition of its wildly popular Picross S series would be heading to Switch soon. Having already tackled the Sega Genesis, Jupiter has its sights set on classic Namco arcade games with the aptly titled “Picross S Namco Legendary Edition.” Set for release on May 30, 2024, it will run players $10.99 and include over 500 different puzzles.

The selection of games is vast, though Pac-Man is the marquee inclusion here. Players will also see the likes of Dig-Dug, Galaga, Mappy-Land, Xevious, and Splatter House represented. The different modes are pretty typical of the Picross S line, including standard Picross, Mega Picross, Color Picross, and Clip Picross. An extra mode combines some puzzles to make ultra-large puzzles for players to tick away at (with some being 40×30 tiles large!).
With Picross S being incredibly engaging, I’m certainly excited to see more classic games get their due in puzzle form. Here is the list of every title included per IGN:
