At Anime Expo 2024, Sega will be holding a special panel dedicated to all things Shadow the Hedgehog. While the majority of the panel looks to be focused on the upcoming Sonic x Shadow Generations: Dark Beginning animated short, there will be a general discussion about Shadow as a character with an opportunity for fans to ask their most pressing questions. The panel will be hosted by Sonic Team head Takashi Lizuka, Shadow voice actor Kirk Thorton, and Stephanie Sheh (who will be voicing Maria Robotnik in Sonic x Shadow Generations).

Over on Twitter, fans can post questions to the official Sonic the Hedgehog Twitter account to have them answered during the panel. Not every question will be featured, but it’s a great chance to have fan theories confirmed or even get some extra developmental insight into Shadow. I, personally, would like to know what lessons Sonic Team learned from the ill-fated 2005 game “Shadow the Hedgehog.”
The “New Era of Shadow: Shedding Light on the Ultimate Life Form” panel will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at 12:30 pm PDT/3:30 pm EDT. It will be located in Petree Hall at the Los Angeles Convention Center. I imagine fans will be lining up early, so if you’re going to attend in person, make sure to set your clocks appropriately.
