If you ever find yourself running low on games to play as the year goes on, it might be a good time to try out a classic title on the Nintendo Switch Online library. With so many options available across various systems, there’s something for everyone. Nintendo themselves have been encouraging players to revisit these games recently as well, with limited-time icon releases that require you to play the corresponding game. The latest of these events puts the iconic SNES title The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past in the spotlight.

There are five icons available, including Link, Zelda, a Fairy, a Hinox, and Ganon. All of the icons are from official artwork rather than any sprites seen in the game itself. While that’s a bit of a bummer seeing as the SNES has amazing sprites in general, the classic look of the ‘90s artstyle is nothing to complain about. As with many of the other recent retro icon set releases, these icons will require you to play the game on Nintendo Switch Online in order to be eligible to purchase them.

The icons will be available until 6:00 pm PST on June 3rd. That’s plenty of time for even those of us with especially busy schedules to fit some Zelda time in. Of course, you will need an active Nintendo Switch Online membership to do so, but you need one in order to redeem for icons at all in the first place, so if you’re an icon hunter that won’t be an issue. If you do end up giving The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past a try, we hope you enjoy it and the icons that go along with it!
