So here we are at the end of the end of an era. The last hurrah no one expected for a game that’s consistently given Nintendo fans something to rally behind and lose themselves in the hype.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is welcoming its final new Spirits, seemingly for good. This time around everything will be based on two games only — Super Mario Bros. Wonder and the soon-to-be-released Princess Peach: Showtime!

Thanks to this we’ll be able to welcome Elephant Mario to Smash, and by the looks of things perhaps both Talking Flower and Wonder Flower Spirit too. On the more theatrical side, Showtime!’s version of Peach and her partner Stella will be included. At least one of her costumes will make the cut as well via Swordfighter Peach. The Sour Bunch can never know…
It might not get any pomp relative to Sora’s addition to the game, but we encourage any and all to enjoy another final send off to Smash Ultimate. The Wonderful Showtime will kick off this weekend, lining up nicely with Princess Peach’s marquee release on March 22nd.
