Japanese toy company Sanei has announced that it will be rereleasing a trio of plushes from Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon to coincide with the release of Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD. Originally released over ten years ago (!) when the 3DS original first made the rounds, these plushes include one of Luigi with the Poltergust 5000, one where Luigi is scared, and finally a plush of Polterpup.
I distinctly remember seeing these available at Nintendo NY many years ago. I actually bought my sister the regular Luigi with his vacuum since I wasn’t sure she’d want a plush of Luigi looking scared. It’s pretty funny now that I stare at it a bit. Polterpup, however, needs to be in my collection or I will do something drastic… maybe I’ll vacuum someone.
