It’s certainly fair to call Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door the most anticipated upcoming game we know of for this year. Scheduled for release on the 23rd of May, pre-orders for the game are live at all the places one might expect. If you’re just interested in getting the game, it might be worth visiting the eShop or the Nintendo Store to lock in your purchase; if you’re in Europe though it might be worth checking out the French pre-order bonuses now available.
The online retailer Micromania includes a random free keychain with their listing of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. The site shows three options: Goombella, Mario, and Baby Yoshi. The actual keychain you get seems to be entirely random, which is kind of a bummer if you’re after a specific character, but given that they’re entirely free it isn’t so bad.

If you’re outside of the EU these bonuses unfortunately do not seem to be available anywhere else at the moment. Given the random nature of it and potential overseas shipping, it may not be worth the effort of trying to get one outside of the EU. That being said, if you’re a truly devoted Paper Mario fan and you’re absolutely determined to get any and all merchandise for the franchise you can, then feel free to check it out!
