In a collaboration that makes ZERO sense but is 100% welcome, Hello Kitty has partnered with Yu-Gi-Oh to release plushies for the newest McDonald’s Happy Meal toys! There are ten plushies available in this set, featuring iconic characters from both franchises. For Yu-Gi-Oh fans and Hello Kitty aficionados, you can expect to find the following ten monsters and characters:

  • Hello Kitty/Dark Magician
  • My Melody/Dark Magician Girl
  • Pochacco/Time Wizard
  • Cinnamoroll/Blue Eyes White Dragon
  • Badtz-maru/Red Eyes Black Dragon
  • Pompompurin/Exodia the Forbidden One
  • Keroppi/Kuriboh
  • Tuxedosam/Obelisk the Tormentor
  • Kuromi/Slifer the Sky Dragon
  • Chococat/The Winged Dragon of Ra

At the time of writing, the collaboration Happy Meal plushies are only available overseas in Europe, more specifically in Belgium. If you want to get your hands on one, your best bet is to find it on eBay, but beware! The Time Wizard Pochacco and Kuriboh Keroppi plushies are currently going for $100, PLUS shipping! Good luck, duelists!

Yu-Gi-Oh’s most recent Nintendo news

As a refresher, Konami announced just last month that Nintendo Switch and Steam would be platforms for the upcoming Yu-Gi-Oh Early Days Collection, commemorating the series’ 25th anniversary and showcasing some of the first games released in franchise history.

We currently only know of one title for the collection, a Japanese exclusive game, but Konami has assured players that more announcements are coming.
