Fantasy Life fans, you’ll have to wait just a bit longer for Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time! Initially slated for a release last year, Level-5 delayed its release from “sometime in 2023” to “sometime in 2024”. Luckily, it made the cut in today’s Nintendo Direct Partner Showcase with new footage and a release date.

Now launching on Thursday, October 10th, 2024, Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time will task players to rebuild a mysterious island and uncover its secrets while traversing time. To do so, you’ll have to choose from 14 different roles (referred to as Lives). These Lives include Paladin, Mercenary, Hunter, Magician, Miner, Woodcutter, Angler, Farmer, Cook, Blacksmith, Carpenter, Tailor, Alchemist, and Artist. In addition to designing the island to your liking, there is a multiplayer feature available (locally and online). Up to four players can play together online, provided you have a Nintendo Switch Online membership.

Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time is available isn’t available to pre-order on the Nintendo eShop yet, but you can add it to your wishlist. For more information, you can visit the official site for the game (as it’s available in English).
