After plenty of rumors over the last couple of days, it appears that Sonic X Shadow Generations is real.
Announced in Sony’s State of Play today, the trailer features both Classic and Modern Sonic racing their way through several well-known stages from the series’ past. Their joyful run through their history is interrupted, however, when Shadow the Hedgehog bursts past. Shadow’s arrival treats us to a flurry of clips showing off Shadow-centric stages and bosses, indicating that this new version of Sonic Generations will have plenty of new content focussed on everyone’s favorite edgy hedgehog.
When does Sonic X Shadow Generations release?
Sonic X Shadow Generations is racing onto the Nintendo Switch, along with the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Steam in Autumn 2024.
