As announced on Nintendo of America’s official Twitter today, Tomb Raider I-III Remastered is now available for pre-order on the Nintendo eShop. A modernization of the classic tomb-raiding titles, this bundle (which releases on February 14th, 2024) includes the original trilogy of titles along with their PC expansions. You’ll be able to revisit these games with new graphics or seamlessly switch to the original polygonal style at will.

It’s still kind of surreal to write that the original Tomb Raider will soon be launching on a Nintendo console. Back in 1996, Eidos Interactive launched the game for PC, PlayStation, and Sega Saturn, leaving Nintendo’s 64-bit console out in the cold. For many years, Lara Croft was associated with PlayStation as the PS1 mascot. My how the tables have turned… or maybe the artifacts, in Lara’s case.

Two outfits included with Tomb Raider I-III Remastered

While we haven’t seen much of Tomb Raider I-III Remastered, apart from a trailer last year, Nintendo offered a glimpse of a few costumes that Lara can wear. As part of the original games, Lara would change her outfit based on specific locations she visited. One of these was an Arctic outfit with an orange coat and white camo pants. The other was a wetsuit for diving deep underwater. You can see how these look with the new visuals.
