Update: It’s official. Nintendo has confirmed that the Nintendo Switch OLED – Super Smash Bros. Ultimate bundle will be available starting November 19th for $349.99. The bundle will included a Switch OLED, Smash themed Joy-Con, a digital copy of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate (minus the DLC), and a three months subscription of Nintendo Switch Online.

Original Story:

The Nintendo Switch is no stranger to special edition consoles; that’s for sure. Back in December 2018, Nintendo released a special edition console featuring a dock and Joy-Con controllers adorned with Super Smash Bros. Ultimate flair. Now, nearly five years later, it seems Nintendo is revisiting elements of that design, but this time with an OLED upgrade. According to a photo shared by Twitter user DISTrackers, a new console has been spotted at Walmart. This new package includes a Switch OLED console, Smash Bros.-themed Joy-Con controllers, a digital copy of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and a 3-month subscription to Nintendo Switch Online

“If this system looks familiar to you, you’re not alone. The Joy-Con controllers appear to be the exact same ones that were released back in 2018. However, with the OLED upgrade, it seems that Nintendo did not include the impressive dock design featuring characters from Smash Ultimate on the front. Perhaps there is another design on the back that we haven’t seen yet, but only time will tell. For a better idea of what the Joy-Con looked like in the previous release, you can check out our unboxing video from 2018 below.

No word yet on a release date or price, but we imagine we should see these available in time for Black Friday! Stay tuned!
