After releasing Deltarune chapters 1 and 2 for free in 2018 and 2021, savant and annoying dog Toby Fox proclaimed that the next three chapters — 3, 4, and 5 — would all release at once, and this would be the moment you paid for the whole package. Well, in a new newsletter, Toby is tweaking that plan a bit: with Chapter 5 so far from completion, he’ll release 3 and 4 together once the latter is finished.
Toby reiterates that this release will be for purchase, and also mentions that the game has a new producer who will speed up game development. He closes by noting that he’s going to offer less details on how development is shaping going forward, and that he’ll only post if Chapters 3 and 4 are nearing completion “or if something funny happens.”
