Since his introduction a few months ago, Elephant Mario appears to have captured the internet’s heart. What’s not to love? His big, he’s cute, he says “Wowwie Zowwie”. He does it all. Just yesterday, we featured an impressive 8-Bit reimagining of Super Mario Bros. Wonder, which included NES-ified versions of Elephant Mario and Luigi. However, today, let’s shift our focus to something a bit more… polygonal. A few days ago, the YouTube channel Unreal64 released a fully functional downloadable mod that swaps Mario 64’s original character model with, you guessed it, Elephant Mario. Take a look at some gameplay below.
The model was crafted by the talented Koop the Koopa, who is no stranger to the Mario 64 modding scene. Make sure to check out their YouTube channel to see all of the amazing work.
