Today a new Dragon Quest game has hit consoles and PC, though it’s not a usual entry in the turn-based RPG series!
Infinity Strash: Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai is based on the manga that first begun in 1989 which was a fairly loose adaptation of the concepts and creatures seen in the series up until that point. Art duties were performed by Koji Inada rather than Akira Toriyama, too, giving the spin-off a unique aesthetic all its own. The series’ first video game adaptation is similarly unique, being an action RPG rather than a turn-based affair.
With the game’s launch Square Enix has shared one last trailer giving us a brief look at what to expect. Give it a watch below:
Infinity Strash: Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai is available to purchase for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam now.
