It’s the 8th anniversary of Undertale’s release, and besides the usual slew of fanart and fond memories, Toby Fox has descended from his mountaintop to give a small development update on Deltarune Chapter 3.
The chapter is now playable from beginning to end, though not quite finished, even as the portions left to complete diminish. “That’s good because try as I might to sleep, until the game is finished, I’ll see nothing but nightmares…” He also reveals that they were considering a stealth section for the game, but cut it after realizing that just making you move slower wasn’t necessarily fun. The track that was going to be used for the section is included.
