With a sizzling summer coming to a close it’s time to start planning for the next season in Splatoon 3 and it’s the aptly named Drizzle Season!

As usual some fresh content is on the way. One new stage, Crableg Capital, will bring some more vertical combat to the game, while the Shipshape Cargo Co. will let you duke it out on top of a big ol’ boat. As for Salmon Run, you can fill your boots on the returning Salmonid Smokeyard and unlock some new work uniforms.

As for weapons, you can expect to unleash ink with the Heavy Edit Splatling.

Perhaps the biggest change for fashionable inklings and octolings is the ability to flip certain hats backwards, letting you be even cooler!

These updates will begin rolling out when Splatoon 3’s Drizzle Season kicks off on September 1st, 2023.

Whether it’s an exciting new entry in a series long established or a weird experiment meant only for the dedicated, Tom is eager to report on it. Rest assured, if Nintendo ever announces Elite Beat Agents 2, he’ll be there.
