This weekend saw the Pokémon World Championships take over Yokohama, Japan, and as part of the closing ceremony The Pokémon Company shared a trailer of what’s to come in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s DLC.

While most of the content was basically clarifying what we saw during last week’s Pokémon Presents, we got a fairly big bombshell – every previous starter Pokémon will be available to catch in the second DLC, The Indigo Disk.

A few of these Pokémon have been available so far thanks to Tera Raid events with their evolutions but this’ll let you create a nostalgic team of your own.

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s The Treasure of Area Zero DLC will kick off with the first pack, The Teal Mask, on September 13th, 2023. The Indigo Disk will arrive later in the winter.

Whether it’s an exciting new entry in a series long established or a weird experiment meant only for the dedicated, Tom is eager to report on it. Rest assured, if Nintendo ever announces Elite Beat Agents 2, he’ll be there.
