How do we know about this? Thanks to Cody Daniels, a prominent Super Smash Bros. N64 organizer and avid poker player, who got to meet with former President Obama as part of an opportunity with the Make-A-Wish foundation. Daniels, who is quite good at Smash 64 (placing reasonably high at big tournaments) states that Obama is no slouch at the game, and in fact better than the average casual. The two played some friendly matches (where Obama did indeed play Captain Falcon) and Obama signed an N64 cartridge for him.
Will we find out that Joe Biden is a Pong fiend next? Only time will tell. I think somebody should check out Bernie Sanders’ Guilty Gear skills though.
