Pokémon GO developer Niantic is about to tackle another monster-filled franchise, albeit one that’s usually a bit meaner to its menagerie of creatures. Monster Hunter Now will be very similar to the developer’s other augmented reality games and we have a release date for when you can give it a go yourself.

Monster Hunter Now will release on September 14th, as announced in a recent showcase stream for the game. You can check out the video below to get a glimpse at how the game will play and a few of the monsters you’ll encounter.

Pre-registration is now live on both iOS and Android with various rewards expected to be distributed dependent on how many people sign up before launch on September 14th.
