Out of the blue during yesterday’s Limited Run Games Showcase, a little caveman with pink hair made a surprise appearance. Tomba! first released for the PlayStation on Christmas Day in Japan way back in 1996, but now he’s leaping over to modern platforms.
Limited Run Games will once again be using their Carbon Engine to port the title but it’ll also be supervised by original director Tokuro Fujiwara and the original composer Fujita Harumi will return to produce a new soundtrack for the game.
Tomba! will release both physically and digitally though a release window has yet to be confirmed.
