During Limited Run Games’ recent showcase we were treated to what seemed like a James Bond tease… But it turns out it’s tail time.

Yes, the Gex Trilogy of platformers is heading to modern platforms courtesy of the company’s Carbon Engine. This will include the sidescrolling original, which first released for the 3DO before heading to the PlayStation, where it was joined by the 3D platforming sequels.

If you’re somehow unfamiliar with Gex, his platformers generally parody the movies and television shows that were popular in the ’90s or earlier, with plenty of quips from the gecko himself, voiced by Dana Gould in North America and Leslie Philips in Europe.

A release window has yet to be confirmed but we do know the trilogy will head to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series systems, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
