Hey, did you know that the bell at the Hateno School in Tears of the Kingdom can actually ring? It takes a swing to get it going, naturally, but one crafty player has developed an extremely simple (and aesthetically pleasing) Zonai mechanism to get it to ring more regularly:

While it lacks the mechanical precision of a real life bell toll announcing the hour, the golden apples attached to the rotating large wheel like little metal nubs add a flair to the otherwise straightforward mechanism. Knowing TotK engineers, of course, it’s only a matter of time until someone does somehow rig a device that plays the accurate number of rings by the hour. We’ll just have to see when that is.
