Update: According to a Nintendo press release, a physical edition of Pikmin 1 and 2 will be releasing on September 22nd.
On the tail end of Pikmin 4 info, something else for sapient plant-life fans was shared. Both the original Pikmin and Pikmin 2 are releasing on the eShop later today! Remastered in HD like Metroid Prime before them, these two Gamecube hits are more than welcome on Switch.
Details weren’t shared on things like New Play Control features via Joy-Con or a potential physical release. That said, anyone curious about Pikmin’s beginnings (it really has come a long way as a series) should take a peek at these two adventures.
Thanks to them nearly the entire series has taken root on Switch!
