One of the things Sonic fans are most persnickety about is game physics. It may seem nitpicky to outsiders, but how the Blue Blur controls and runs is extremely important to how the game feels to play. And in what will be a sigh of relief to many, Sonic Mania director Christian Whitehead confirmed that the upcoming Sonic Superstars fully adapted Mania’s physics into 3D.

 

 

Some Sonic fans have worried about the game being developed by Arzest (makers of the notorious Balan Wonderworld) and Sonic Team (makers of the notorious Other Sonic Games), so this should assuage some fears that they might mess it up. Sonic Superstars releases this fall.
