This cuts a nice figure for less than six months past release. It still has quite a bit to go before matching the sales of the first game – Octopath Traveler 1 has sold more than three million worldwide as of late last year, and also reached the one million mark quicker than the sequel (in only about a month’s time as opposed to about four months). But this is still an achievement worth celebrating for a sequel scores of fans – as well as our own Jaxson Tapp – have found excellent.
