It seems like it has been quite some time since Nintendo announced any fresh additions to their Joy-Con lineup in terms of basic colors. While we’ve been treated to a plethora of limited consoles featuring unique Joy-Con designs, the absence of aesthetically pleasing new color options has been notable. Fortunately, it appears that Nintendo of Japan has taken heed of our pleas and just unveiled two delightful sets of Joy-Con specifically tailored for the Japanese region, featuring stunning pastel shades.

Set number 1 introduces an combination of pastel purple and green Joy-Con, while set number 2 showcases a delightful pairing of pastel pink and yellow. Mark your calendars, as both sets are scheduled for release on June 30th. Unfortunately, mixing and matching between the two sets doesn’t seem to be an option, which is certainly a disappointment. However, it’s worth keeping an eye out for new combination sometime down the line.

Sadly, as of now, these beautiful Joy-Con sets are exclusively coming to Japan, leaving fans outside the region yearning for their availability.
