At long last Pokémon trailers will be able to transfer old favorites to the Paldea Region and vice versa starting next week!

As announced by The Pokémon Company, the creature curation tool Pokémon Home will be updated to support Scarlet and Violet from May 23rd. This means you’ll be able to transfer your party to the cloud storage and import old favorites to the game, so long as they’re in the regional Pokédex.

Various other features will also be incorporated to the app. The standard addition of new challenges and stickers is expected, but a uniquely fresh option is the ability to customise a Pokémon’s moves before transferring it out of Home.

Finally, those who transfer a Pokémon from Scarlet or Violet for the first time will receive Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly with their hidden abilities, so long as they access the mobile version of the application.
