Ever since Capcom began bringing the Mega Man series to modern platforms under the Legacy Collection banner, fans of the blue bomber were crossing their fingers for the RPG spin-off series Battle Network to get the same treatment. It took a while, but earlier this month the massive collection hit the Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC.

It turns out the fans were ready to put the money where their mouth is, too, as it turns out the Legacy Collection has already hit the one million units sold mark in less than a month. To put that in perspective, as of December 2022, the original Mega Man Legacy Collection is sitting at 1.3 million units sold – and that game has been available since 2015!

We’ll just have to wait and see if this success brings the Star Force games to modern platforms or perhaps even a direct continuation of Battle Network?

You can grab Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection via the Nintendo Switch eShop now.
