Spotlighted during today’s Indie World presentation, Rift of the NecroDancer offers a sequel/spinoff to the beloved rhythm-roguelike hit Crypt of the NecroDancer, featuring protagonist Cadence navigating the modern world while bobbing along to more traditional rhythm game tracks – but don’t mistake this for pure convention, as you’ll have enemies of varying patterns and even boss battles to contend with.
With a brand-new plot, minigames for all five storylines, and more, Rift of the NecroDancer is sure to be a followup to die for when it launches on Nintendo Switch sometime this year. Stay tuned for more details.
