Today’s Indie World presentation covered various indie games – from upcoming releases to shadow dropped titles to DLC announcements. The Jet Set Radio Future-inspired title, Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, appeared during the presentation’s highlight reel section. Yet, for eagle-eyed viewers, the snippet of footage wasn’t the only new thing shown off. Bomb Rush Cyberfunk has a new release date and it’s August 18th, 2023.
Shortly after today’s Indie World presentation, Team Reptile uploaded its own short official release date trailer on YouTube.
Bomb Rush Cyberfunk was originally planned to be released in 2022, but Team Reptile announced in August 2022 that the title would be delayed to summer of 2023. It’s a good thing that their estimate was spot on, given the rumor that Sega is in the midst of making a new Jet Set Radio game.
