The recent Nintendo Direct had plenty of announcements, but the Japanese version had a unique reveal – a remake of the very first Atelier game. It didn’t take long for Koei Tecmo’s western branches to confirm a localization, and now we have some more details.
Atelier Marie Remake: The Alchemist of Salburg will be releasing on July 13th, 2023, though outside of Japan it’s set to be a digital-only release.
Another major reveal is that the Digital Deluxe version of the game will come with a copy of Atelier Marie Plus – the enhanced version of the PlayStation original that incorporated aspects from the Sega Saturn version.
You’ll be able to venture forth from Salburg on July 13th, 2023. On the same day, free DLC for 25th Anniversary Glasses will be released!
