Nintendo has announced that Splatoon 3’s next Big Run event will take place during the first weekend in March, starting at 4 p.m. PT on Friday, March 3rd, and will run until 4 p.m. PT on Sunday, March 5th. This time around, Grizzco is tasking Inklings and Octolings alike with defending the turf of Inkblot Art Academy from the waves of a Salmonid invasion. According to the announcement, this Big Run will also be host to a brand-new King Salmonid for Grizzco’s part-timers to take down, the Horrorboros, a massive Salmonid resembling an eel.

That’s not all that’s happening in the world of Splatoon 3 in the coming weeks – players can also look forward to the first wave of the Splatoon 3 Expansion Pass, Inkopolis, dropping next Tuesday, February 28th, while the all-new Fresh Season begins the next day, Wednesday, March 1st.
