Update 1 (Friday, February 10th, 2023 at 12:15 p.m. PT | 3:15 p.m. ET): Another poster was released today and it has been added to the article.

Gearing up for its spring release in theaters, a new set of movie posters for The Super Mario Bros. Movie have been released. Published throughout the week on the movie’s official social media channels, all three posters are also available on the film’s official website.

This trio of posters features Luigi, Mario, and Princess Peach. Luigi is… well… experiencing his own misadventures as a hostage to a group of Shy Guys. Mario appears to be tackling the training course Peach has set up for him (which was briefly shown in a previous trailer). As for Peach, she’s speeding her way through Rainbow Road with Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, and other racers close behind. Hopefully, no one has the dreaded Blue Shell ready for a last-minute upset.

Update 1: A fourth poster was released after the publishing of this article. It features Mario, Peach, and Toad.

Update 2: Two more posters have been released since this article was last updated and both feature Bowser. The first (Bowser and Kamek) was discovered on the Super Mario Bros. Plumbing site which was launched on Super Bowl Sunday. The second Bowser poster was shared on social media on Monday, February 13th.

Update 3: Another poster was released, this time via the Super Mario Bros. Plumbing text service. Expect some more to be “leaked” as we get closer to the film’s release!

These posters join last week’s full ensemble cast poster that Nintendo of America shared on social media. But wait, there could be more promotions for the film this weekend thanks to Super Bowl LVII. The most recent trailer, showing off Donkey Kong voiced by Seth Rogan, was dropped as a commercial during the NFL Conference Championships. Who’s to say that Universal, Illumination, and/or Nintendo didn’t plop down a chunk of the film’s marketing budget on a Super Bowl commercial? We’ll just have to wait and see this Sunday!

The Super Mario Bros. Movie will be released in theaters on April 7th, 2023 in the United States.
