Capcom has a lot to celebrate today as its expansion for the latest Monster Hunter installment has gone above and beyond in terms of sales. That’s right, Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak has exceeded 5 million units sold worldwide, taking into account both physical and digital copies. This, of course, comes as no surprise — last August we already saw the core game hit 11 million sales, with Sunbreak selling a whopping 4 million at the time.
To celebrate the exciting landmark, Capcom has shared a sweet illustration sharing the news and announced it’ll be giving out a commemorative in-game item pack.
We're thrilled to share that Monster Hunter Rise: #Sunbreak has sold more than 5 million units worldwide across Nintendo Switch and PC/Steam! Thanks for your support!

No details about the item pack have been dished out yet, but we’ll make sure to update this page with all that info once Capcom reveals the contents. Until then, we’d like to wish the company a heartfelt congratulations for the big achievement! It’s extremely well-deserved, and we highly recommend the pickup if you haven’t yet added it to your Nintendo Switch collection.
