Fate fans, prepare yourselves for even more action-packed adventures with the series’ bizarre takes on historical figures!

A new collaboration between Type-Moon and Koei Tecmo has been announced – Fate/Samurai Remnant. You can catch a teaser below:

Very little information has been shared regarding the game other than it being an Action RPG developed by Koei Tecmo’s Omega Force division. That name should be familiar to Nintendo fans as they developed all of the Fire Emblem Warriors and Hyrule Warriors games, which themselves were built from the in-house Dynasty Warriors series. Another Koei Tecmo division, Kou Shibisawa, will also be assisting – you might know them for the Romance of the Three Kingdoms strategy series.

There have been Action RPGs set in the Fate multiverse before, such as Fate/Extella, but this is the first developed by Koei Tecmo.

The game will launch for the Switch, PlayStation, and PC later this year and an international release is planned.

Whether it’s an exciting new entry in a series long established or a weird experiment meant only for the dedicated, Tom is eager to report on it. Rest assured, if Nintendo ever announces Elite Beat Agents 2, he’ll be there.
