We’ve known for many months that Toby Fox worked on multiple tracks for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, but we didn’t know the exact number. Speculation has run rampant in the weeks since release as to which tracks he specifically worked on, but – thanks to a Undertale/Deltarune newsletter – now we know.

Tera Raid Battles, Academy Ace Tournament, Battle! Zero Lab, Area Zero, and Academy are all tracks he composed, with Area Zero also featuring arrangement from Go Ichinose. The theme melody for Academy ended up becoming the main theme of the entire game, though Fox stresses that the other tracks utilizing the motif were made by other composers. He mentions loving the soft piano in the night theme in particular.
Fox also included a little bit of fan art of Fidough in the original email. It’s honestly adorable.
