There are various versions of Tetris available on the Switch already, from the competitive Tetris 99 to the artistic meditation session that is Tetris Effect. If you’re looking for something that’ll push your skills to the limit, though, you’ll be excited by this announcement.

Arika has confirmed it will be partnering with Hamster Inc. of Arcade Archives fame to bring Tetris: The Grand Master to Switch.
 


 
While simple on the surface, The Grand Master leans heavily into high-score seeking, with a tiered “dan” ranking system increasing the difficulty to ridiculous levels. You can check out some gameplay below:
