After a quiet October (where were you, beloved Splatoween?) a new Splatoon 3 Splatfest is nearly here! Synching up with Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s upcoming release, it’s putting players’ choice of partner Pokémon to the test.

New Splatfest art has been released that sees the members of Deep Cut take on the elemental typings they’ll represent.

Shiver is looking elegant as ever as she supports Grass-Type. Frye on the other hand is looking wild and lively to rep Fire-Types. And Big Man? He’s just riding the chill vibes of Water-Types like he always has.

While the question isn’t directly putting Paldea’s starters against each other, there’s still some overlap with that choice as well – like these My Nintendo Pokémon × Splatfest keychains. As a Fuecoco fan, I’ll be supporting Frye this time, and can’t wait to bring the fight to teams Sprigatito and Quaxly this weekend!

The Splatoon 3 Pokémon Splatfest begins November 11th at 4 p.m. PT. As for Scarlet and Violet, they’ll come to Switch one week later on November 18th.
