Back in June Capcom Fighting Collection released, bringing a bunch of classic arcade brawlers, and one puzzle game, to Switch. We thought it was quite fun in our review, and now it’s been given a major update!

While there aren’t any huge additions, a lot of small tweaks have been added, most of them optional. For example, Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo players can change out the Gem colors with six additional palettes, allowing for more accessible play.

Fighting game afficionados are also well catered for! If you’ve ever been curious about a game’s hitboxes, you can now turn them on in Training. Latency will also now be displayed with a colored line below the game’s title with the following meanings:

  • Blue – 30 ms or lower
  • Green – 31 – 60 ms
  • Yellow: 61 – 90 ms
  • Orange: 91 – 160 ms
  • Red: 161 ms or higher

You can watch a new trailer below to get a better idea of what’s in store and also check out Capcom’s official changelog.

Whether it’s an exciting new entry in a series long established or a weird experiment meant only for the dedicated, Tom is eager to report on it. Rest assured, if Nintendo ever announces Elite Beat Agents 2, he’ll be there.
