The buzz around the upcoming Super Mario Bros. teaser trailer is already high due to the anticipation (and fear) the populace has over what the movie will look and sound like. And now, one of the main sources of that potential apprehension has commented on the matter: Chris Pratt took to Twitter to express excitement over the teaser, promising that we’ll be similarly enthralled.

While the level of enthusiasm is high, Pratt doesn’t say anything particularly outlandish like that it’s going to be the greatest animated movie of all-time. And his seal of approval isn’t going to assuage the concerns of anybody already opposed to him voicing the title role — if anything, it just makes one more afraid that it’ll open up with him doing a bad Italian accent before coughing and transitioning into his normal Chris Pratt voice. I’ve literally seen at least three different unrelated people bring this up as a predicted scenario. The fear is pervasive, nearly memetic.

But we’ll reserve judgment until we see the trailer for ourselves. It debuts at NYCC on October 6th at 4 p.m. ET. Stay tuned for any uploads of it online.
