The day we all knew would someday come fast approaches. Over a year after the casting announcement, and far longer since the project was announced, and we’ll finally catch our first glimpse of the Super Mario Bros. animated movie from Nintendo and Illumination. The teaser trailer for the film releases at New York Comic-Con on October 6th at 4 p.m. ET.

It’s unclear when the trailer would/will be uploaded online, though presumably soon after the event, if not immediately upon its conclusion. We’re only about two weeks away from seeing… well, whatever this ends up being. Will it be glorious? Frightful? Like nothing we’ve ever seen? Well, Mario is still Chris Pratt, so… let that inform how you feel.

We’ll be here to report on the trailer as news releases, including if there’s a way to watch it live. Stay tuned for more.
