Picross fans are spoiled for choice on the Nintendo Switch, whether it be the long-running S series, spin-offs themed to Sega, or even the retro Mario’s Super Picross via Nintendo Switch Online.

Well, it’s time to get ready to plant more crosses as Jupiter has announced Picross S8 for release later this month.

Picross S8’s main new addition is multiplayer, allowing up to four players to attempt to solve the same puzzle co-operatively. If you’ve ever played the game with someone else who has been backseat puzzling, you can finally hand them a controller!

Touch screen controls are also implemented, allowing you to play the game as if it were on a tablet.

Picross S8 launches for the Switch on September 29th for $9.99.
